 Using these Search Sites...

  The Ledger is our local main newspaper.  This link will take you directly to their classified "homes for sale" section where you can search all the current properties that are advertised in the local paper.  Note that the total number of advertised homes here represent less than 10 % of the local properties currently available for sale.

  The biggest site going with over 1.3 million listed homes and receiving over six million unique visitors per month. This Link takes you directly to the Lakeland area, where you can input a zip code and property data to narrow your search. This site receives data feeds from 730 MLS's across the country and represents more than 90 % of all properties available via Realtor MLS listed homes in the US.

Note: there is usually a delay posting the newest listings from several days to a week or more. Also, "under contract" homes are not always removed timely. This is due more to the listing agent or broker not updating the MLS system than to realtor.com. Send us an email and we can verify for you the status of any property in question.

  Another major nation listing site trying to catch up to realtor.com. Some areas of the country are served well, but has a limited amount of listings for the Lakeland area. Still worth a look see.

  Bill Gate's real estate portal on MSN. This site is reportedly on the heals of realtor.com with over 800,000+ listings strong and growing. Bill's super   sophisticated technology will most likely pop you off our site. So if you use this home search portal please come back and visit us again soon!

  This site is the oldest and still best local site for Lakeland community information and has a pretty decent real estate section with some great local mapping/ search abilities plus a fair amount of local home listings. It also has Commercial property listings that none of the others offer.  Some of this sites non real estate info is somewhat "dated" but worth a look if your new to the area. Site for some reason loads slow... so be patient as it's generally worth the wait.

  This link takes you to the HUD State of Florida site for
resale homes currently up for bid but drops you at a
shortcut to select the city of Lakeland. Check mark the
box by Lakeland, then scroll down and continue. If you
want more detailed info about bidding on HUD properties
or to access other cities in Florida not listed on this page go to our
Special HUD section found on the Real Estate main directory page.   

  State of Florida VA Property Management Site. Here you will find a wealth of information on VA homes for sale, FAQ's, bid results and more.  For available VA homes up for bid in our area first click on "Property Information", then use #1. "To submit a bid, choose any of the options below!"  Then, Search by City, County or 'PM' number if you got it.

Go here to look up specific properties in Polk County for the assessed values and other types of detail info. Please note while a great public asset to have online, not all their information is 100% accurate all the time and should be verified by other means. Has a great mapping feature for viewing lot plats plus zooming in & out.
