Lakeland the largest and youngest city in Polk county, |
 |
was fondly named for its many lakes and is
renowned for its natural beauty and unparalleled quality of life!

between Tampa and Orlando provides comfortable and affordable living, with easy access to the larger east-west
more metropolitan areas, and plenty of activities to keep you busy year around.

Major industries are
phosphate mining, citrus, distribution, light manufacturing, tourism, retailing
and service. Also, Lakeland Regional Medical Center and Watson Clinic have put Lakeland on the map as a leading medical center
in Florida. |
